West Northamptonshire Polling District and Places Review

West Northamptonshire Polling District and Places Review

Overview

West Northamptonshire Council is conducting a statutory review of polling districts and polling places, a process required every five years. This review ensures that polling arrangements are accessible, convenient, and meet the needs of all voters.

With new ward boundaries coming into effect for the Local Government and Parish Elections on 1 May 2025, the review will also adjust polling districts to align with the updated wards. Polling districts divide larger wards into smaller, manageable voting areas, each assigned to a polling station. In some cases, polling stations may be shared between districts, particularly in larger villages and towns.

West Northamptonshire Council wants to hear your feedback on the current arrangements and any proposals for future changes. Whether you are a resident, councillor, community group member, or someone representing individuals with disabilities, your input is invaluable.

The consultation is open until 5 January 2024.
