When will this work take place?
We’ll work overnight from 2 June 2026 to 4 June 2026, 8pm to 6am.
To carry out our work safely, we’ll close the (M1 junction 16 northbound entry slip.
During closures, a fully signed diversion will be in place which has been agreed by the local authority. The diversion will be to proceed south on the M1 to junction 15a and return.
What does this mean for you?
We’ll make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum. We always aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes.
We’d also like to apologise for any inconvenience or disruption to those living close to our work. We’ll make every effort to carefully manage noise levels and additional lighting to minimise the impact.
