The attached report on the state of repair of the B5385 between the centre of Long Buckby and Watford, a distance of 1.8 miles/2.9Km.
On the 29th of December, two Long Buckby Parish Councillors, David Stoddart and David Hiam carried out a survey of the
road taking pictures of areas of concern on the road and noting defects/issues.
Long Buckby Parish Council has raised concerns with West Northamptonshire Council (the authority responsible for the
road) for many years over the safety and general state of this road.
The Parish Council sent a detailed letter to the Chief Executive approximately a year ago, a copy of this can be found here
In this document is photographic evidence of the state of the road, 140 different photographs with location data. This
equates to one picture every 20m! Many pictures contain more than one defect.
Many images show issues with with repairs or are near recent repairs.
